Calm on the water

As the sun rises over the horizon, casting a golden light on the calm waters of the lake, a feeling of peace washes over me. I am alone in my small boat, gliding smoothly on a smooth surface, and the only sound is the gentle splash of water on the hull. The air is fresh and fresh, carrying the sweet scent of pine trees and wildflowers wafting from the shore. At this moment, all worries and stress disappear, leaving me with a feeling of calm and serenity that is difficult to find in the bustle of everyday life.

There is something magical about being on the water alone. The silence is deafening, but at the same time calming, allowing me to fully connect with the world around me. The call of a loon can be heard in the distance, adding to the peaceful symphony of natural sounds. I feel the gentle rocking of the boat beneath me, a soothing rhythm that lulls me into a state of relaxation.

As I continue to paddle further into the lake, the world around me seems to disappear, leaving only the beauty of the water and the surrounding landscape. The deep blue water reflects the clear sky above like a mirror. The trees growing along the shore are bright green, their leaves rustling in the light breeze. I feel like I am part of this tranquil landscape, a silent observer of the beauty and harmony that surrounds me.

I close my eyes and let the warm rays of the sun wash over me, absorbing the feeling of peace that envelops me. The worries and stresses of the outside world seem so distant, as if they belong to another reality. Here, on the water, there is only the present moment, a fleeting but precious gift that I cherish with my entire being.

I dip my hand into the cool water, feeling its refreshing touch on my skin. The ripples spread across my fingertips, creating a mesmerizing pattern on the surface of the lake. I watch a family of ducks swim by, their movements graceful and effortless. They seem to embody the sense of calm I feel as I glide through the water with ease and grace.

As I swim further across the lake, the world around me becomes even more peaceful and serene. The only sound is the gentle splash of the oar on the water, propelling me forward with each stroke. I experience a feeling of freedom and liberation, as if I am truly in sync with the rhythm of the world around me. The worries and stresses that once seemed so pressing now seem insignificant compared to the immensity of the lake and sky stretching out before me.

I reach a small island in the middle of the lake and decide to anchor the boat and take a break. I walk ashore and feel the soft grass under my feet, the cool earth grounding me in the present moment. I find a comfortable place to sit and watch the world around me. The trees sway gently in the wind, their leaves whispering secrets that only they can hear. Birds flutter and chirp in the branches, their songs fill the air with a sweet melody. At this moment I feel completely calm, part of the natural world that is difficult to describe.

As I sit on the island, surrounded by the beauty of nature, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and awe. The world is so vast and wonderful, with so much beauty and complexity to explore. And yet, in this moment, all I want is the simple pleasure of being here on this peaceful lake, surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. The sense of peace and serenity I experience in this moment is a gift I will carry with me long after I leave the water's edge.

As the sun begins to sink below the horizon, bathing the water in a warm light, I know it's time to paddle back to shore. But I also carry with me the peaceful feeling of boating on a lake alone, a feeling that will stay with me long after the sun has set and the stars have come out to play. At this moment I am truly at peace, connected to the world in a way that brings me joy and satisfaction. And for that I am grateful.
